A Beautiful Health in an interview with Dr. Dieter Rösler

In addition to aesthetic medicine, our blog also deals with therapies that fall into the areas of diseases of civilization and chronic diseases, labeled by us as Extended Medicine. You have already heard that polyenylphosphatidylcholine (PPC) is used in aesthetics for lipolysis, but also in extended medicine for cell rejuvenation therapy (CRT). We have interviewed Dr. Dieter Rösler from Lenting, Germany about his results.

A BEAUTIFUL HEALTH: Dr. Rösler, how did you come upon cell rejuvenation therapy with PPC?

Dr. Rösler: My office is practically on the outskirts of Ingolstadt. I am a general practitioner myself and run a purely private practice. I offer my patients a relatively wide range of options, including aesthetic treatments. While attending a course on injection lipolysis, the speaker mentioned that PPC is not only used in lipolysis, but is also administered as an infusion for a wide range of clinical pictures. As I also have many older patients, I was very interested in the little information given in the course. The next step was almost inevitable: I took part in a training course on Cell Rejuvenation Therapy. One of the speakers was Prof. Gundermann, one of the world’s specialists for PPC. Since then, for about 8 years, I have been using the infusion therapy.

A BEAUTIFUL HEALTH: What is your experience with CRT?

Dr. Rösler: In our region I am known under the heading “last hope”, i.e. a contact point for problem cases. Problem case here means: Our practice sees many patients who feel left alone with their problems. Your readers probably also know that for many diseases of civilisation and other clinical pictures the recommended therapies and medication alone are not sufficient. The patients who come to me are often desperate, as they are told by their specialist “I’m afraid I can’t help you there”. What I get to hear there is – I would like to express this here once quite crassly – more than shameful. I sometimes wonder what is going on in the minds of such colleagues who show no commitment whatsoever to really help their patients, which should actually be part of our professional ethics.
For years I have been offering therapies that I am convinced of and that can actually support patients, such as orthomolecular medicine, acupuncture and high-dose vitamin C infusions. The CRT is another one.

A BEAUTIFUL HEALTH: What indications do you treat with CRT?

Dr. Rösler: I started with patients with diagnosed atherosclerosis. Usually high statin doses are administered to them and that was it. The higher the doses, the more the patients suffer from the side effects. Above all, they continue to feel ill, they often have the feeling that life is not worth living this way. I can tell you one thing about this group of patients: they are extremely grateful, often they come earlier for a second cure treatment, which usually consists of 10 infusions, than I had arranged with them. The quality of life is considerably improved. Often the dosages of the prescribed medication can be reduced. I do not persuade patients to undergo CRT. I let them decide for themselves. Usually after the 5th infusion there is a first conversation about the patient’s condition, and with satisfaction I can state that this usually seems to be considerably improved. Up to now I have not had to report any discontinuation of therapy.

A BEAUTIFUL HEALTH: But these are not the only indications you treat?

Dr. Rösler: Not at all. Atherosclerosis and poor lipid metabolism have been a relatively safe entry into a new therapeutic area for me because there are enough clinical and experimental studies. Over time, I have expanded the therapy spectrum with CRT. I have successfully treated several tinnitus patients. I also had an 82-year-old patient who could not cope with his hearing aid. Now he can use it because he can hear properly with the device for the first time.  One of my patients has colitis ulcerosa, which previously often had to be treated for 3 weeks as an inpatient in the clinic. We were even able to discontinue her cortisone. Two of my patients have kidney failure. After the first treatment, both had significantly better urea and creatinine levels. I also noticed a strong improvement in the values for diseases of the pancreas.

A BEAUTIFUL HEALTH: That sounds like a very broad spectrum. Why is that?

Dr. Rösler: Yes, you are right. But this is no wonder, because in our body everything is connected to everything else. And the functionality of the membranes controls almost all exchange processes. If this function, which consists of controlling the cells, is restricted – and this inevitably happens with increasing age – then many diseases can be predicted. PPC is not a miracle drug, but where the membranes are massively involved in ageing phenomena, PPC can do a lot and restore quality of life. For example, I also have several patients diagnosed with cancer who are treated with cytostatic drugs. The tolerability of chemotherapy is considerably improved by the CRT complementary therapy.

A BEAUTIFUL HEALTH: In view of the good results – do you have any further ideas?

Dr. Rösler: Indeed. Recently, some patients suffering from polyneuropathy approached me. The clinical pictures are often unspecific, ranging from extreme pain to numbness. So far they have been treated with anti-epileptic drugs, which is known to be associated with severe side effects. I would like to treat a somewhat larger group of patients with this clinical picture with CRT, because I am quite sure that this is a very good indication for it.

A BEAUTIFUL HEALTH: Dr. Rösler, thank you for this interesting conversation.
