Review of the year 2020
The pandemic year 2020 is coming to an end, and while many people are glad the year is over, it has also brought positives. The collaborative search for a Corona vaccine across borders has brought vaccine research as a whole forward tremendously. The use of mRNA vaccines will certainly be an important aid against other pathogens as well. We are very excited about the future of this type of immunization.
The global response to the Corona pandemic has also highlighted the strengths and weaknesses in medical care in all countries. Lack of protective items such as masks and disinfectants have been replenished, and hygiene awareness among the masses has once again been strengthened. In the long run, this will protect us not only from Corona, but also from other diseases.
For each individual, being at home a lot was certainly not easy. And even though the pandemic year proved that home office is definitely possible and can be productive, it can also start to feel quite restricting after a while. On top of that, the fact that we couldn’t meet up with friends and family on a regular basis didn’t make it any easier. All the more we agree with the statement that it has taught us to appreciate the simple things again. Because let’s face it…who isn’t already looking forward to sitting in a café with friends again this summer and catching up? We are keeping our fingers crossed that the start of vaccination now underway will make such normality possible again as quickly as possible.
The year 2020 for A Beautiful Health
For us at A Beautiful Health, the year 2020 was also the launch of our already long planned patient blog. In good cooperation with the worldwide doctors’ network Network-Globalhealth, we were able to launch a site that provides the average consumer with easily understandable content from classical, extended and aesthetic medicine.
Since then, we have already published more than 40 articles, were able to celebrate the first 1,000 visitors on our site and have set ourselves up on Facebook and Twitter. The foundation has been laid and we are already looking forward to the expansions and new developments in the coming year.
The good resolutions for 2021
So what do we actually have planned for the year 2021? What started out as a purely informational site is now to gradually evolve into a community. We want to encourage the exchange of experiences among you readers to create a platform that can be used not only passively but also actively. For this purpose, we will soon introduce another article category, namely “Experience reports”. After all, you don’t just want to understand how therapies work, you also want to hear what experiences have been made with them, don’t you?
Another point will be to get our Instagram, YouTube and Pinterest account up and running. Do you have any ideas about what content might be of particular interest to you here? Of course, we want you to benefit as much as possible from our content. We are therefore looking forward to your comments!
Concluding words
“Fueled by passion and founded in science – making knowledge accessible to everyone, that is our vision.” – this will remain our credo in the new year as well. We want to gradually expand our content spectrum and thus offer you more and more opportunities to comprehensively inform yourself and exchange information on the topics of health, beauty and well-being. We look forward to this new year and all its opportunities to grow through new challenges, together with you – the readers of A Beautiful Health.
